One of the Daft Punk Members Doesn’t Like Electronic Music
According to Arcade Fire’s frontman Win Butler, Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk doesn’t like electronic music. He made the statement during a recent interview with Song Exploder.
Thomas had helped produce Arcade Fire’s latest album and Win also discussed his time working with him. He called Daft Punk’s studio in Paris “amazing” and “one of the last vintage, 70s analogue studios.” The singer continued: “You would think that Thomas is all about electronic music, [but] he doesn’t actually really like electronic music.”
While he may not like electronic music, Thomas is definitely gifted in that arena. Plus the work he’s done with Arcade Fire and The Weeknd speaks for itself. While there isn’t any news on new Daft Punk music coming soon, the legendary duo are still actively working on other projects that they feel passionate about.
